Listen. Love. Repeat |
Stop listening to the static. If you listen to the static too much it fucks you up. |
Yeska, you single-handedly saved my life.
I love you so much and I would do anything to hug you again. I know times were rough especially this past week, but I’m sure you know that me and the entire family tried to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as we can.
I’ve had you since I was 4-5 years old and I remember when you were small enough to fit in our laundry basket and then you grew to a big dog who needed her own house! You were there for my 13th birthday, my 16th birthday, my 18th birthday, and my 21st birthday, albeit very short. If I could, I would celebrate all my birthdays again with you.
You will ALWAYS be a part of me and my family and I will NEVER forget you and your spirit.
Coming home from Irvine will never be the same - opening that garage door and having it frighten you from your sleep won’t be the same (and I’m sorry for startling you all those times).
Waking up and going to the garage to get some food won’t be the same.
You were the BEST guard dog and I couldn’t have asked for a better security alarm.
I’m going to miss you cuddling inside your house and looking so comfortable, without a care in the world — if only life were so simple.
I’m going to miss having to tell all my friends and other guests to use the front door because ‘my big dog will eat you’.
I’m going to miss knowing that I’m NEVER alone in this house.
And finally, I’m going to miss the sense of security and love you give me, unconditionally.
I love you Yeska, you will be missed. I’ll see you soon.
Goodnight Yeska
